Best Practice Self-Assessment Checklist
As part of our ongoing commitment to quality assurance and the continuous enhancement of professional standards, ICATT requests that Members in Practice who offer non-audit services complete the Best Practice Self-Assessment Checklist.
In accordance with Section 15 of ICATT’s Practising Regulations, the Self-Assessment Checklist has been meticulously crafted to serve as a proactive tool for evaluating and enhancing the quality of your non-audit services. By utilizing this checklist, you can identify areas of strength, uncover opportunities for improvement, and ensure alignment with best practices.
Upon submission, ICATT will review your responses and may provide additional guidance/ resources based on the self-assessment results. Your commitment to this process is instrumental in collectively and continuously elevating the standards in the accountancy profession.
Annual Return Client Information Form
This form must be completed by each member holding an Auditing or a Practising Certificate issued by ICATT. Employees of such firms/organizations are not required to complete this form.
In accordance with Section 15 of the Practising Regulations- Monitoring and Compliance: Schedule 1 – of The ICATT’s Rules and Regulations 2018. Members must supply ICATT or its appointed agent with all the information necessary to enable the Institute to undertake its monitoring process effectively.
Membership
Before completing this form, applicants should read carefully the rules of membership.
Reinstatement
This form must be completed by de-listed members who wish to be reinstated and who have been de-listed for a period of less than three(3) years for MNPs and less than two (2) years for MPs.
Application of Renewal of Practising Certificate
All members engaged in Public Practice in Trinidad and Tobago or elsewhere, must hold an Auditing or Practising Certificate issued by ICATT. Before completing this form, applicants should read carefully the relevant sections of the guidelines, which can be found on ICATT’s website.
Application for Practising Certificate - Non Audit
ICATT’s Practising Certificate authorises the holder to engage in Public Practice in accordance with the Practising Regulations: Schedule 1 of the ICATT Rules and Regulations 2018 but does not authorise the holder to perform audits.
