There was no member feedback received on the proposed amendments to the ICATT 2018 Regulations (not Rules) after the Member Consultation Webinar for the Proposed Amendments to ICATT 2018 Rules and Regulations on October 19, 2021.
A Notice to the membership on the proposed amendments to the ICATT 2018 Regulations was subsequently circulated on November 8, 2021. The consideration period for the amendments to the ICATT 2018 Regulations, therefore, commenced on November 8, 2021 and expired on December 9, 2021. As there was no objection to the ICATT 2018 Regulations within the consideration period, the Council approved the proposed amendments to the ICATT 2018 Regulations without change. The amendments to the ICATT 2018 Regulations was deemed adopted and will become effective on January 2, 2022.
The ICATT Rulebook will also be updated to reflect the adopted amendments to the ICATT 2018 Regulations.
As previously advised, most members voted against the resolution to amend the ICATT 2018 Rules at the Virtual Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) held on December 9, 2021, as such, the motion to amend ICATT 2018 Rules was “Not Passed”. Council will review and re-engage with members on the way forward.
