Leadership - 2025/2026

ICATT is led today by a Council comprised of volunteers who are persons nominated from the general membership.  The Council is elected at the Annual General Meeting and generally represents  the various interest groups within the membership employed within the ‘Big Four’ firms, by Small and Medium Size Practitioners and professional accountants in business in both the public and private sectors. ICATT’s administrative functions are managed by a Secretariat which also supports the work of the Council and its Committees.

MARISSA QUASHIE - PRESIDENT CA, FCCA, MBA

Marissa Quashie was elected as President at ICATT's 54th AGM, she currently serves as an Associate Partner at EY. With a robust professional background, she previously held the role of Financial Services Sector Leader within KPMG, where she led engagements on audits of prominent financial services and group entities. Marissa's career trajectory includes a notable two-year secondment to the UK, focusing on the financial services sector, a specialization she continues to uphold with dedication and expertise.

Marissa's leadership extends beyond her role at EY; as a Council member of ICATT, she plays a pivotal role in shaping the professional landscape. Marissa previously chaired the Members and Student Relations Committee of ICATT, underscoring her commitment to nurturing robust professional relationships within the accounting community. Known for her expertise, she also frequently delivers technical presentations at the Annual Finance and Accounting Conference, alongside hosting seminars and webinars to benefit ICATT members.

ARUN SEENATH - VICE PRESIDENT CA, FCCA

Arun Seenath is a practising member of ICATT and was elected as Vice-President at the 54th AGM. As a partner at Deloitte & Touche, he exercises leadership in the Taxation and Business Process Services department, overseeing international consulting, tax planning, due diligence, mergers and acquisitions, and international assignee services.

In his commitment to professional excellence and community service, Arun previously chaired ICATT's Taxation Committee, playing a pivotal role in enhancing professional development within Taxation. With over two decades of public accounting experience, he conducts Tax and Audit reviews for entities across various industries, catering to both local and international clients. Arun's expertise lies in Tax Compliance, planning, corporate restructuring, mergers & acquisitions, and Corporate Governance, reflecting his dedication to delivering comprehensive financial solutions to his clients.

ADRIENNE D'ARCY CA, FCCA

Adrienne D'Arcy is the former Vice President of ICATT and presently holds the position of Partner within EY's Assurance Service Line at the Trinidad and Tobago office. With over two decades of expertise in audit and accounting, she specializes in serving a wide range of clients, from large domestic to regional and international entities, particularly in the financial services sector. Adrienne's affiliation as a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants underscores her commitment to professional standards. She also represents ICATT on the Payments System Council of the Central Bank of Trinidad and Tobago, demonstrating her involvement in shaping financial regulations. Adrienne's past role as Chair of ICATT's Accounting and Auditing Standards Committee reflects her dedication to fostering transparency, accountability, and best practices within the profession.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Adrienne is an advocate for community service and volunteerism. Her involvement on the boards of two leading private schools highlights her commitment to education and community development. Adrienne's dedication to achieving work-life balance serves as an inspiration, showcasing how a harmonious integration of professional and personal responsibilities can lead to success in both spheres.

DINESH BHOLA CA, FCCA, CIA

Dinesh Bhola is the Principal of D.S. Bhola & Co and the Managing Director of DSB Financial Solutions Ltd. With a wealth of experience, including tenure as a Director in the Assurance Department at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), Dinesh has engaged in diverse assignments spanning multinational companies, local conglomerates, and SMEs. Transitioning from a Big 4 firm to his independent practice, Dinesh focuses full-time on SME services, offering accounting, tax, business consulting, and auditing through DSB Financial Solutions Ltd.

As a fellow of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA) and a Member of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), Dinesh maintains high professional standards in his practice. His clientele encompasses global corporations, local conglomerates, financial institutions, and SMEs, showcasing his versatility and expertise across various sectors. His diverse experience underscores his commitment to delivering exceptional assurance services and strategic insights to his clients.

EDMUND PHILLIPS CA, FCCA, CIRA, BSc

Edmund Phillips, a fellow of ACCA and member of ICATT, has a rich history of service within the accounting profession. He previously held roles on the Licensing Committee (formerly the Quality Assurance Committee) of ICATT as its Vice-Chairman and is the Chairman of the Public Accountants in Business (PAIB) Committee of ICATT. Currently employed at the Financial Institution Supervision Department of the Central Bank of Trinidad and Tobago, he brings a wealth of experience from his tenure at PwC and private consulting.

Beyond his professional commitments, Edmund actively contributes to his community by serving as a director on the boards of various organizations in both the public and private sectors, demonstrating his commitment to both professional excellence and community service

RENÉE-LISA PHILIP CA, FCCA, AMLCA

Renée-Lisa Philip is a Chartered Accountant with thirty-two years post qualification experience, having worked in the United States, the United Kingdom and Trinidad and Tobago. Renée-Lisa is a member of ISACA, holds a Trustee License for conducting Bankruptcy and Insolvency Business in Trinidad and Tobago, and is an Anti-Money Laundering Certified Associate.

Renée-Lisa's dedication to the accounting profession is underscored by her active involvement as a member of ICATT's Council over the past three years. She has played a pivotal role in the Accounting and Audit Standards Committee and is the current Chairman of the Small and Medium Practitioners Committee (SMP) of ICATT. Renée-Lisa remains steadfast in her commitment to navigating evolving standards and regulations, thereby making a meaningful impact on the accounting landscape.

CHRISTOPHER RAMJIT CA, FCCA

Christopher Ramjit is the Managing Principal of CR Next Generation Chartered Accountants. As a Member in Practice – Audit and Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), Christopher's expertise is highly regarded within the industry. He currently as Vice Chairman on ICATT's Small and Medium-Sized Practitioners’ Committee and as previously served as a Member of ICATTs Member and Student Relations Committee, playing a pivotal role in driving the organization's success.

Christopher actively contributes to ICATT’s Governance as a Member of the Council. Christopher's leadership in external audit and his active involvement in professional committees highlight his dedication to the growth and excellence of the accounting profession. His diverse role in both practice and governance positions him as a key contributor to ICATT, fostering collaboration and advancing small and medium-sized practitioners in the accounting community.

HASEEB MOHAMMED CA

Haseeb Mohammed, an experienced ICATT Member, brings over 30 years of expertise in engaging with finance professionals. As a part-time lecturer specializing in Strategic Business Reporting, Advanced Audit and Assurance, and Financial Reporting, he shares his knowledge to enhance professional development. Haseeb's tenure as a lead on audit engagements for PwC Trinidad and Tobago underscores his proficiency in International Financial Reporting Standards and International Standards on Auditing, making him a trusted Subject Matter Expert in audit reports.

DESMOND DIAL CA, FCCA, MBA

Desmond Dial boasts over two decades of accounting and auditing experience, with a significant portion of his career spent at PwC, spanning 16 years in the financial services sector. In this capacity, he assumed the role of engagement manager for numerous audit engagements involving a diverse array of financial institutions, including banks, asset management firms, and trust companies, alongside ventures into the manufacturing sector.

Currently, Desmond holds a pivotal position managing audit clients listed on the TTSE, while also co-leading several IFRS 9 implementation projects. At present, Desmond serves as the Vice Chairman of ICATTs Member and Student Relations Committee further cementing his dedication to fostering strong professional relationships within the accounting community.

TANYA WRIGHT CA, FCCA

Tanya Wright, currently serves as a Director at KPMG and boasts a remarkable track record with over 20 years of audit and assurance expertise in both Jamaica and Trinidad and Tobago. Her extensive experience encompasses auditing multi-national group engagements, specializing in manufacturing, distribution, telecommunications, and utilities, with a particular focus on insurance and financial institutions. In addition to her pivotal role as Audit Director, Tanya serves as the Director of Learning and Development for KPMG CARICOM. Previously, she held the position of Risk Management Manager for KPMG Trinidad and Tobago.

GILES LEUNG CA, FCCA

Giles is the Lead Assurance Partner at Grant Thornton with over twenty (20) years’ experience in the accounting profession. His scope of responsibilities includes the provision of auditing, advisory, accounting and taxation services for multinational, government and local entrepreneurial clients catering to the professional services, hospitality, retail, manufacturing, distribution, energy, telecommunications and construction sectors.

SHIVANAN DEOPERSAD CA, FCCA

Shivanan is a seasoned tax professional with extensive experience across the Caribbean. Currently, he serves as Manager-in-Charge of the Taxation Division for a group of energy-related companies based in Point Lisas, Couva. Prior to this, he spent over 20 years practicing taxation at all four Big 4- firms Deloitte, EY, KPMG, and PwC where he held leadership roles, including Director at Deloitte Trinidad & Tobago and Partner at PwC East Caribbean.

Since 2014, Shivanan has served on ICATT’s Tax Committee and has represented ICATT in pre- and post-national budget discussions. He is also a member of the Energy Chamber of Trinidad & Tobago.
